The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo is the very height of luxury nestled in Roppongi Hills, located on the highest floors of the Midtown Tower providing guests unparalleled views of the city.

During a family trip to Japan, the travelers found themselves treating themselves for a one night stay at the world-famous Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo.
It’s no secret that room rates in this Japanese megacity are as sky high at the Tokyo Tower but with Titanium Status, these travelers were provided an upgraded room that made the large point redemption rate worth it.

Location, Arrival, & Check-In
The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo is situated in the Roppongi Hills district above the Midtown. shopping complex. Besides a bell desk on the ground floor and connections to the mall on the 2nd, the hotel itself is housed on the highest floors of the Midtown Tower, occupying floors 45-53.
Upon arrival, guests are whisked away to the 45th floor to complete check-in procedures in the lobby.
Hotel Room
This hotel has two main views – a Tokyo Tower view and the Mount Fuji view. Given the poor visibility during the traveler’s stay, they oped for a Tokyo Tower view room. Due to their Titanium Status, they were upgraded to a higher floor with a larger room, which was spacious and felt like a proper palace in the sky.

The room itself is large for Tokyo standards, fitting of the Ritz-Carlton brand. Guests first step into the room’s hallway, with double doors on the right with the room’s large bathroom. It features a large soaking tub and separate shower and toilet room with double sinks. Down the hallway, a large king-sized bed and extra large TV screen make up the rest of the room. Near the large windows are two comfortable seats for viewing.
Of course, the room featured Japanese amenities including automated toilets and controls at the bedside table for the lights.
Club Lounge
The travelers were not able to access the club lounge due to the limited amount of time. However, this traveler is certain that it would have been a great experience.
Amenities
Breakfast was included in the rate and due to the traveler’s status. Much like the rest of the hotel, the breakfast spread was over the top and thoroughly enjoyable.
Conclusion
Even for a short overnight stay, the Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo stood out as a top luxury store in the crowded Japanese capital.
